Family First Medical Center was founded in 2002 by Dr. Flint Packer. Dr. Packer wanted to establish a medical practice where he could provide high-quality preventative care, while building relationships with patients. In 2003, Dr. Boyd Southwick joined the team, bringing the same patient-centered philosophy as Dr. Packer. Both were born and raised in east Idaho, and are glad to provide effective, comprehensive healthcare in the community.

Over the years, Family First Medical Centre became one of the first patient-centered medical homes in east Idaho, providing better health and satisfaction for our patients. We believe in treating our patients as if they are our own family, and we take the time to meet and train as a team so that we can make that happen. We believe that family is an important part of any individual’s overall health and wellness, and family is the driving force behind everything that we do. We strive to take care of your families, our families at home, and our family here at Family First Medical Center.
